In yesterday’s news, the Big Tilde hit his first home run of the season off no one in particular in a game that never happened and we can all move on with our lives. Certainly, the Tigers’ bullpen didn’t give up more than the sellers in the Louisiana Purchase in the 7th and 8th in a 12-6 Neil Diamond-ing. Nope. Didn’t happen.
So congrats to the Big Tilde on his first dinger in isolation; best of luck to the Tigers tonight against the White Sox (unless that one doesn’t happen, either).
(Charles Krupa may or may not have been at a game for AP Photo to take a picture of that man that might or might not have given up the home run to El Tilde Grande. No sé.)

The only good news I can take out of last night’s debacle was the Monster clearing shot by Tilde and the fact that the Tigers seemed to be hitting and getting on base for a second straight night. However, leaving umpteen runners on base has got to stop.
I have a good feeling about this series against the other Sox. Hopefully, Dontrezzey will throw a solid game tonight and the bats will continue warming up.
We’ve got plans to make the weekend work. Plans, I tell you.
Dontrelle needs to pitch 8 innings with less than 8 walks.
As for this game that didn’t happen and didn’t take precious sleep from me last night… that was a BOMB the tilde hit. And also I misread the MLB headline as Tigers hope TILDE turns vs. White Sox.
I need help you guys. Also tickets. I need tickets.
“the Tigers’ bullpen didn’t give up more than the sellers in the Louisiana Purchase in the 7th and 8th”
Bazardo’s Folly.
You need us to help you further your damaging habits, tiff? Well, okay.
Thomas Francona?
all I see are Tilde!
